USPS Rate Increase Goes Into Effect July 9, 2023

<  Back to Resource Center

The United States Postal Service (USPS) has announced approval to increase rates effective Sunday, July 9, 2023. We want to be sure our clients are aware of the upcoming changes and that we are here to help evaluate potential cost saving measures for your business.

On April 10th, 2023, the United States Postal Service filed notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) and announced their proposed new rates. These rates have been reviewed and approved by the PRC. The new rates will go into effect Sunday, July 9, 2023.

This is the second postage rate increase in 2023. As part of its 10-year plan, the USPS is raising postage rates to increase its cash flow. The last time we saw a postage rate increase was in January of this year. In July 2023, the USPS price increases will range from $0.03 to $0.05, depending on the product.
