On April 7, Cyndi Greenglass, Senior Vice President of Strategic Solutions at OSG, moderated an online panel called “Stewardship, Advocacy, Fundraising: What is Working Right Now?” Hosted by West Virginia University, the panel is part of the Integrated Online webinar series, which tackles virtual connections and communications empowerment during a time of crisis.
The panel featured Alicia Lifrak, Executive Vice President at Gabriel Group, an OSG Company; Dana Hines, Vice President of Membership Marketing at Membership Consultants; and Michael Fulton, Director of Asher Agency’s Washington, D.C., office.
Among other pertinent topics, the panel discussed marketing strategies that can be used to engage constituents while in-person connections aren’t possible, as well as adaptations they’re already seeing in the nonprofit sector, and immediate and long-term fundraising solutions. Some insights were applicable to all industries as we collectively navigate the future.
When asked what you should not do in the current environment, Lifrak said, “Don’t disappear. Now, more than ever, you need to be present and engage with your customers. When we all come out the other side, those of us who planned for tomorrow will be better off.”
